3-Day America 250 Reenactment: No Quarter at Fort Ticonderoga

Real Time Revolution at Fort Ticonderoga

Attend the 250th Anniversary reenactment of the capture of Fort Ticonderoga by Ethan Allen, Benedict Arnold, and the Green Mountain Boys as well as the immediate aftermath. Examine the real story behind America’s First Victory and learn of America’s first offensive push of the Revolution. Attend the night-time program and witness the Green Mountain Boys storming the gates to capture Ticonderoga.

This unforgettable experience brings history to life with vivid storytelling and thrilling live-action drama.

  • Step into the dramatic days of 1775 at Fort Ticonderoga with immersive tours, live reenactments, and thrilling demonstrations. Watch as British soldiers unknowingly walk into a captured fort, witness the Green Mountain Boys’ arrival, and see America’s first prisoners of war march toward captivity. With guided museum tours, historic garden walks, and cannon firings, history comes alive through action-packed storytelling and unforgettable experiences.

Lake Protector Workshop

Lake Protector Workshop

Friday, August 16th, 9am-12pm

Since 2002, Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program has trained hundreds of volunteers to learn how to identify, survey, and record data about aquatic invasive plants and animals impacting Adirondack lakes. It is a fun and easy way to protect Adirondack lakes! Volunteers can complete this 3-hour training, sign-up to monitor a lake, monitor the lake for 1-3hrs at least once between July and September, and report findings. Join us for this workshop to become a part of the Lake Protector Community. The Schroon Lake-North Hudson Snowmobile Club is holding a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser.

Date: Saturday, February 1

Time: 4 - 7 p.m. 

Location: Flanagan's Pub in Schroon Lake

Cost: Adults: $15, Kids under 12: $7

The menu includes spaghetti with meat sauce, salad, breadsticks, dessert, soda, and a cash bar. Take out will be available.

The Handlebarley

Handlebarley Gravel Weekend 

Spend two incredible days of gravel riding in the beautiful southern Adirondacks at Paradox Brewery in North Hudson! Whether you sign up for just Saturday, Sunday, or the full weekend, you're in for some fantastic dirt roads, stunning views, and plenty of fun.

Ride Details

No matter how many days you ride, you’re guaranteed awesome dirt roads, stunning views, and plenty of fun. Saturday features a 20-mile afternoon social ride to the picturesque Elk Lake Lodge, followed by post-ride drinks at the brewery. The main event on Sunday takes you east of the brewery to Ironville, with stops at Hunter Way Farm and the Penfield Homestead Museum, before returning to the brewery for a pizza and salad feast with live music. In between, enjoy some of the region’s finest paved and gravel backroads.

Choose your days and enjoy the best gravel and paved roads in the region.

  • The main event! A ride east of the brewery to Ironville, with stops at Hunter Way Farm and the Penfield Homestead Museum, before returning to the brewery for a pizza and salad feast with live music.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Penfield Homestead Museum in Ironville, also known as the "Birthplace of the Electrical Age." Explore 19th-century buildings and extensive grounds, including Allen Penfield's home, farm barns, a church, and a parsonage dating back to the 1840s.

Cinco De Mayo party in the Pavilion 

Head to Paradox Brewery this Cinco de Mayo for a party in the pavilion on May 5th 2-5pm! Get your tickets now for live music, margaritas, tacos and of course beer! Music will be performed by local musician Margarita Mike.
