Perched on a knoll overlooking Schroon Lake, this iconic home with separate attached apartment offers panoramic lake views from every room and the wrap-around deck.  Built by some of the first settlers of the town of Schroon Lake, you will be enveloped by the charm of originals doors, knobs, hardware and open feel of the space complimented with the comforts of modern day.  The space is curated with ease and comfort in mind, so you will find all the auxiliary supplies in the well appointed kitchen - just a quick stop at the local grocer is all you'll need before arrival.

Enjoy the wonderful sandy public beach complete with lifeguard and adirondack style sun chairs, swimming in sparkling clean water, boating, fishing and sitting by the fire pit under the stars. You have a front row seat for the summer concerts in the park right from the veranda.  Boat rentals are available through the Schroon Lake Marina, only half a mile up the road.

Winter brings ice fishing, ice skating on the lake or in town where even borrowed skates are no charge, snowy walks on the majestic frozen lake, skiing, or snowmobiling. The town golf course has the perfect beginner's slope for novice skiers or sledding.

Our home is at the south end of the lake in a private setting, and is a classic custom Adirondack home with cathedral ceilings, an open floor plan with a magnificent great room, dining room (comfortably seats 6-10) and kitchen, all in one big space so that you can be all together. Plus it faces southwest so you get to have long days with sunsets as much as mother natures allows. The house features 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths on the main floor plus a loft and 2 bedrooms and a half bath and laundry room on the bottom floor. You will also enjoy a large deck that is divided in to two parts - the screened in part allowing you to be outside with NO BUGS or be on the open deck to view the magical night sky for endless stargazing, plus 100‘ of private beach front property.
