Proceeds from the garage sale are used to aid the visually impaired and disadvantaged on the local, national, and international levels. The auction is one of the main fundraising events that the Town of Schroon Lions Club holds, 100 percent of raised funds are allocated and spent on charitable programs. The raised funds go towards Lions Annual Scholarships, Summer Recreations Programs, Emergency Dialer Equipment for the elderly, just to name a few.
